Temp Monitoring
Overview
A single temperature excursion can destroy an entire truckload of perishables and, for food and pharma, trigger recalls and regulatory reporting that dwarf the value of the cargo itself. The good news is that these losses are almost entirely preventable with the right equipment and discipline. Our multi-zone reefer trailers hold anywhere from -20°F for frozen goods to +70°F for climate-sensitive product, with the ability to maintain different temperatures in the same trailer, and every unit is pre-cooled and verified with a calibrated probe before a single pallet is loaded.
Reefer units are built to maintain temperature, not to pull a warm load down to spec, so our process starts before loading: pre-cool the trailer, confirm the product is already at temperature, and load with proper airflow gaps so no warm spots develop in transit. Throughout the trip, GPS-enabled sensors log continuous readings to our operations center, which is alerted the moment a reading drifts — allowing us to contact the driver and correct an issue before it ever reaches the product. If a unit can't be repaired quickly, we coordinate an emergency trailer swap at the nearest facility.
Compliance is built in. Our operation meets the FDA FSMA Sanitary Transportation Rule, and we provide continuous, downloadable temperature logs that stand up to audits and quality disputes. For pharmaceutical shippers we offer GDP-compliant transport with the tighter temperature ranges and chain-of-custody documentation those products require, and our reefer drivers are certified in cold-chain handling. Cross-border reefer service includes the food-safety paperwork needed to keep perishables moving through customs.

FAQ
From -20°F for frozen goods to +70°F for climate-sensitive items. Multi-zone units can maintain different temperatures simultaneously within the same trailer.
Continuous monitoring systems log data at regular intervals. Our ops center accesses readings remotely and is alerted immediately to any excursions for corrective action.
Yes, fully compliant with the FDA FSMA Sanitary Transportation Rule including vehicle standards, temperature controls, driver training, and audit-ready record-keeping.
Yes. We provide GDP-compliant pharma transport with specific temperature ranges, chain-of-custody documentation, and handling protocols that meet regulatory standards.
Drivers are trained in emergency response. If the unit cannot be repaired quickly, we coordinate an emergency trailer swap at the nearest facility to minimize delay.
